The renter is responsible for the bicycle for the entire rental period until it has been returned to the Vuokatti Ski Service rental shop. The rented bicycle must be returned in the same condition as when it was handed over.
The bicycle may not be handed over to another person or taken outside the borders of Finland. The renter is responsible for the bicycle they have rented.
The rental fee is charged in advance, and the renter is obligated to return the rented equipment at the end of the rental period.
If the renter notices any defect or fault in the equipment, it must be reported to the lessor immediately.
Without insurance coverage, the renter agrees to compensate, if necessary, for any damaged or lost parts, equipment, or accessories.
Deductible: €800
The renter is liable to compensate for any loss of or damage to the rented equipment according to its current market value, unless the renter can prove that they have taken proper care of the equipment.
The renter must notify Vuokatti Ski Service without delay in the event of loss of or damage to the bicycle.
The renter must take proper care of the rented bicycle and act carefully and responsibly at all times.
The renter must comply with the traffic regulations in force in Finland.
The renter rents and rides the bicycle at their own risk and is responsible for ensuring that they have valid personal insurance coverage.
In the event that the bicycle is lost or stolen, the renter is obligated to compensate Vuokatti Ski Service for the full replacement cost of an equivalent bicycle.
The reservation must be cancelled no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the reservation, unless otherwise agreed.
CAR RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Driver’s License The renter must hold a valid driver’s license.
Rental Fee The rental fee is determined according to the price list valid at the time of rental. The customer shall pay for the rental at the time of pick-up unless otherwise agreed.
Repairs For necessary repairs, maintenance, or servicing, the lessor will reimburse the customer against an approved receipt. The receipt must state the amount in euros, description of the work performed, the vehicle’s registration number, odometer reading, and date. Reimbursement is subject to the condition that the customer is not liable for the issue under this agreement, considering the nature and cause of the defect. If the total cost of repairs, maintenance, or servicing during the rental period exceeds fifty (50) euros, the customer must contact the lessor before any work is carried out.
Condition of the Vehicle The customer must return the vehicle in the same condition as at the time of rental, excluding normal wear and washing. If the vehicle is not returned in the agreed condition, the customer shall compensate the costs required to restore the vehicle to rental condition (cleaning fee). The customer is liable for lost vehicle equipment and accessories, as well as for damage to the windshield and light covers.
Liability for Damage The customer is liable for any damage to the vehicle caused wholly or partly by negligence, omission, unauthorized or contract-violating use, or driving under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
Deductible: €1,500 Deductible reduction: €50 (reduces deductible to €800)
Traffic Accidents In the event of a traffic or similar accident, the customer must call the police to investigate or document the incident. The customer must immediately complete a damage report for any damage caused to the rented vehicle or to other vehicles or property. All damages exceeding fifty (50) euros must be reported to the lessor without delay. The customer is also liable for damage caused to third parties or their property.
Care and Use The customer must take proper care of the rented vehicle throughout the rental period. The vehicle may not be used for driving practice, racing, towing, nor may it be subleased or lent to a third party unless separately agreed and recorded in the rental agreement.
Territorial Restrictions The vehicle may not be taken outside Finland without the lessor’s prior written consent.
Fines and Penalties The customer is responsible for all fines and parking penalties incurred during the rental period.
Return of the Vehicle The customer must return the vehicle by the end of the rental period to the same location where it was received, unless otherwise agreed. In case of delay, the customer shall pay the rental fee for the extended period and compensate any damage caused to the lessor due to the delay.
Termination of Agreement The lessor has the right to terminate the rental agreement immediately during the rental period if the customer breaches or is likely to breach the terms of this agreement, or is found incapable of properly operating the vehicle. The lessor also has the right to terminate the agreement if the customer has provided false information at the time of entering into the agreement.
Force Majeure The lessor shall not be liable if, due to reasons beyond the lessor’s control, the vehicle cannot be made available to the customer. The lessor shall not be liable for any indirect damages incurred by the customer in connection with the rental.
Late Payment Interest Late payment interest shall be charged in accordance with the applicable Finnish Interest Act.
Dispute Resolution Any disputes arising from the rental agreement shall be settled in the District Court or another court of first instance designated by the lessor. If the renter is a private consumer, disputes shall be settled in the District Court of the renter’s place of residence.

SKI EQUIPMENT RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
